tl;dr
Pulse Popover Upgraded: You can now see exactly when your data last updated (and when the next one is coming), toggle between successful/failed extractions, and jump straight to specific data source pages.
Data Sources Page: The Data Sources page now displays extraction schedules. It also highlights "continuous" sources like Shopify and the Klar API/Pixel that don't rely on traditional extraction intervals.
UK Formatting Fix: No more "is that June or October?" confusion. If you’ve selected the UK flag, your reports and tables will now correctly display dates as DD-MM-YYYY
What’s changed
We’ve updated the Pulse Popover, Data Sources Page, and corrected the formatting (as it was displaying US formatting when users selected the UK formatting). More details about each of these below.
Pulse Popover
On clicking on the Pulse Popover, you’ll now see when Pulse last updated and when the next update will take place. As well as the various connected data sources, when last data was and when next data will be extracted for each data source. You’re also able to toggle Successful or Failed extractions (in the future, we’ll also expand this list to cover other options).
From the Popover you are also able to navigate to a data sources page or to a particular data sources’ page (think jumping right to the Detailed Shopify Data Source Page).
Data Sources Page
Now shows extraction information
The Data Sources Page now also displays extraction information, showing users when the last extraction took place and when the next extraction is planned to take place.
You’ll also note that some of the Data Sources are displaying as continuous, as the the data being available for Pulse isn’t dependant on an extraction. They are:
Shopify - Note that the Shopify Data Source Page now mentions how we extract data (Real time for the orders and then the Daily sync for products & inventory).
Klar API
Klar API Returns
Klar Pixel
Influencer CRM
There is also an error state for if the previous extraction fail, we’ll then display the following:
US -> Uk Formatting
Prior to this change, the Klar made use of the US formatting in the FrontEnd, even though the UK Flag was being used in the preferences setting.
Now throughout Klar, the Report and Flex Tables will display the UK formatting of DD-MM-YYYY on the FrontEnd note that this won’t affect the filtering and sorting).
