tl;dr

To read your customer’s mind at scale and in turn get the most out of your attribution data, asking him the right questions using Post Purchase Surveys is the way to go.

If you use anything else than our two natively integrated partners KnoCommerce and Fairing, you now have the opportunity to still upload and analyse those responses in Klar, using the Custom Post Purchase Survey Sheet and integrating those answers in your channel configuration.

Btw, if you're thinking about switching service to another provider that's already integrated in Klar: for KnoCommerce we can exclusively get you free API feature access, even in their free plan. Just reach out in the chat and we'll get you sorted.

Creating a new Custom PPS sheet

  1. Go to Data Sources in the menu.

  2. Press the + Button and select Post Purchase Survey as a data source.

  3. Give it a name (eg. Post Purchase Survey) and save it.

  4. Click the three dots on the created data source and select Open Google Sheet.

Entering PPS data

  1. Enter the order ID, the question and the response in the sheet.

  2. We use the order ID to map the answer to the customer journey and enrich that data with your Post Purchase Survey input.

  3. Define the mapping of your collected answers to your channels. For that go into the channel configurator, select your PPS sheet as the datasource and define which answer belongs to which channel. Here's how to match PPS answers into the different channels

  4. We import new data multiple times per day and show it in your reports. You can also manually trigger a new import by clicking the three dots on the data source and selecting Sync Data.

If you are using tools like Typeform e.g., you can set up a connection between our sheet and the Typeform sheet where the answers are being collected, so that all of those show up automatically within Klar (https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3093340?hl=en).
