How to install the Klar Browser Extension (Attribution)

How to install the Klar Attribution Browser Extension and display your first-party attribution data directly inside Facebook, Google Ads, and TikTok.

Written by Frank Birzle

The Klar Attribution Browser Extension injects Klar's first-party attribution data directly into your Facebook, Google Ads, and TikTok ads manager — right where you need it when making budget decisions.

No more switching tabs. Your Klar attribution metrics appear directly in the campaign dashboard of each platform, so you can optimise with confidence.

If you have access to multiple Klar accounts, you can switch between them directly from the extension without re-authenticating.

Step 1: Install the extension

Click the link below and press Add to Chrome:

Step 2: Connect your Klar account

  1. In Chrome, click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the top-right corner of your browser

  2. Find Klar Attribution and click it to open the extension

  3. Log in with your Klar credentials to connect your account

Step 3: Add the required columns in your ad platform

The extension injects Klar attribution data into three specific column fields. You need to add Campaign ID, Ad Set ID, and Ad ID to your column selection in each ad platform for the data to appear.

Here's how to do it in each platform:

Facebook / Meta Ads Manager

  1. Open your Meta Ads Manager

  2. Click ColumnsCustomise Columns

  3. Search for and add: Campaign ID, Ad Set ID, Ad ID

  4. Save your column selection

Google Ads

  1. Open Google Ads

  2. Click the Columns icon → Modify columns

  3. Search for and add: Campaign ID, Ad group ID, Ad ID

  4. Apply the changes

TikTok Ads Manager

  1. Open TikTok Ads Manager

  2. Click ColumnsCustomise Columns

  3. Search for and add: Campaign ID, Ad Group ID, Ad ID

  4. Save your column selection

💡 Tip: Once the columns are added and saved, the extension will automatically inject your Klar attribution data every time you open the respective ads manager.

Step 4: Configuring the extension

Once installed, open the extension by clicking the puzzle icon in Chrome and selecting Klar Attribution. You'll see two configuration options:
