Update Apr 26:
Klar’s Klaviyo integration supports OAuth instead of relying on the legacy API key authentication.
How to connect Klaviyo to Klar
Before you begin - Make sure that you have access and the right level of permissions in both Klaviyo and Klar.
Installing from within Klar
Open Klar, in the left-hand navigation click on the Store Configurator, and then click Data Sources.
Click Add Data Source in the top right-hand side of the page.
Select Klaviyo from the list of data source types.
Click Connect, enter a name for your data source, and click Connect Klaviyo Data Source.
You’ll be redirected to Klaviyo to authenticate your account.
Once authenticated, your Klaviyo data source will be connected in Klar!
Installing from the Klaviyo App Marketplace
Click Install from the Klar app listing in the Klaviyo Marketplace.
You’ll be prompted to sign-in to your Klar Account (if you’re already signed in you’ll skip this step).
Once you’ve successfully signed into Klar and depending if you have a Klaviyo Data Source connected you’ll be routed down the following flow:
If you don’t have any Klaviyo Data Source connected - You will be presented a modal to connect Klaviyo as a Data Source within Klar.
If you already have a Klaviyo Data Source connected - You will be presented a modal with 3 options:
Add a new Klaviyo Data Source to Klar.
View your Klaviyo Data Source(s) within Klar.
Connect an existing Klaviyo Data Source to another Store within Klar.
Customizations and Auto Calculate Costs
Customizations
Klaviyo also supports Customizations, which allow you filter your data is displayed within Klar or not (see the highlighted section of the screenshot below in blue). To learn more about this works and how to set it up - click here.
Auto calculate Klaviyo costs in Klar
It is possible to automatically record costs for Klaviyo in Klar. We do this using the mail hashes available in the account based on an estimate (see the table below).
If you’d prefer not make use of our automatic cost calculation you can turn it off in your Klar account (see the highlighted section of the screenshot below in orange).
The automatic cost calculation table is as follows:

Troubleshooting
I think I created a duplicate connection
That’s no problem. If you’re the account owner, you should be able to “delete” the duplicated data source by navigating to the duplicated data source and at the bottom of the page, you can click on the “Delete Data Source” button. Note that this will remove the connection and can’t be reverted.
If you’re not the account owner, you should be able to then “disconnect” the data source. While this won’t completely remove the data source from Klar, it will, however, disconnect the data source from the store (meaning that the data from that data source won’t reflect in any of the reports).
I’m being redirected unexpectedly during setup
Ensure that you have the correct level of permissions in both Klaviyo and Klar to complete this connection. Then restart the flow from the beginning and try again.
If that still doesn’t work - then reach out to Customer Success team here at Klar.
